The project consisted of assembly supervision, training for operational and maintenance client teams, commissioning and assisted operation of one 10t Whiting Automatic Drop Tables, including its service top, body support, release top, HMI and locking bar pockets.

The Service Top will allow operators easy access to the rail vehicle traction trucks for disconnecting them from the rail cars. The Service Top is equipped with power operated levers (one on each side of the Service Top) for locking and unlocking the Service Top, as required, to allow rail traffic to pass over. The Service Top is only unlocked when the Drop Table is underneath it.
